Playful and Periodic Critique
I really loved the imbalance that my playful composition created, the sense that the boxes could fall over at any minute. I also saw that the composition created line of continuance that followed the boxes around. although I really liked my playful composition, I found that my periodic composition was lacking something, weather that there was too much empty space or still wanting to add another box at the end of the row, I had intended to create tension with the boxes being so close and orderly and having a lot of empty space, but maybe it was too much empty space in the long run.
dot dot dot critique
My group found it fairly easy to distinguish between the different principles of gestalt within my four compositions. Although my group didn't like how much empty space I had left in my proximity composition. Even though I used lots of space to create tension, I didn't use enough space to really fill the composition, and it ended up being more distracting to the actual piece. My group did however like how I create tension and they said that it was the strongest of the four principles for me. aside from that my group liked how I used each principle of gestalt.
